G1. What is Whitetails Unlimited?
Whitetails Unlimited is the premier national conservation organization that is dedicated to the betterment of the white-tailed deer. Founded in 1982, Whitetails Unlimited raises money to support its mission of conservation, education, and the preservation of the hunting tradition.
Whitetails Unlimited is a nonprofit educational organization chartered under section 501(c)(3) of the tax code, making donations tax deductible under applicable law.
Whitetails Unlimited sponsors membership banquets and other events to raise money to support local, state, regional, and national projects that support the central mission of conservation, education, and the preservation of the hunting tradition. Unique in the conservation industry, 50% of the net proceeds from events remain in the local area, to be used for local projects.

G3. How do I join Whitetails Unlimited? How do I renew my membership?
You may join through our website, attend a local Whitetails Unlimited membership banquet in your area, or contact national headquarters.
When your membership is about to expire, a renewal form and return envelope will be inserted in your magazine. Simply return the completed form in the supplied envelope. You may also renew your membership by any of the previously listed options.
G4. After I join, when do I receive the Whitetails Unlimited Magazine?
When you join Whitetails Unlimited, you will automatically be added to the magazine distribution list, and will receive your first magazine within 6-8 weeks. Whitetails Unlimited Magazine is published 4 times per year, and is typically mailed around the first of February, May, August, and November. A second mailing of the current issue is done approximately 6 weeks later for people who have joined/renewed after the initial mailing.
G5. Why did I not receive my Whitetails Unlimited Magazine? How do I change my address?
More than likely there was an error with your mailing address. We strive to accurately enter your address, but at times we are hindered by illegible banquet stubs or incomplete information. Have you moved and not supplied WTU with your new address? Please contact WTU as soon as possible to correct your address.
G6. What is a Whitetails Unlimited membership event?
Whitetails Unlimited membership events are always a great time and offer people attending the satisfaction of knowing that 50% of all net proceeds will go directly back to your local community for conservation-related activities. Dinner, prizes, raffles, and auctions are a perfect formula for suspense and are always an enjoyable part of a Whitetails Unlimited membership event. These events include exclusive WTU event collectible merchandise.

G7. How do I start a Whitetails Unlimited membership event in my area?
Just contact your nearest Field Director or national headquarters. A Field Director will meet with you and explain what needs to be done. They are full-time event organizers, and will take care of all the chores involved, such as securing a venue, publicizing the event, planning auctions and raffles, and being the emcee during the event. G8. What is a Field Director and how do I contact them about WTU in my area?
A Field Director is a full-time event organizer for Whitetails Unlimited. They are responsible for the entire pre-planning and implementation of the Whitetails Unlimited membership event. They work with local groups and individuals to raise money for conservation-related projects in the local community. WTU accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover credit cards. You may safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server that encrypts all submitted information.
O2. Is there sales tax on my purchase?
Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of Wisconsin. It is automatically computed for you when checking out.
O3. May I order by phone?

O4. How much do you charge for shipping? Do you ship overseas?
Shipping is $8.00 for the first item and $4.00 for each additional item. A select few items incur a special charge and that is noted in the description of the item.
No. Currently we only ship within the United States and Canada.

No. Carrier will not deliver to a PO Box. You must list a street address for shipping.

W2. What is the best way to view the Whitetails Unlimited site?
The site is PC and Mac compatible. The site is best viewed with a minimum monitor resolution of 800 X 600 (or higher). To change monitor settings:
- Windows users: Go to Start menu: Control Panel: Display: Settings or right click on your Desktop, select Properties: Settings.
- Mac users: Go to Apple menu: Control Panels: Monitors (or Monitors & Sound). For OSX, go to Apple menu: System Preferences: Displays.

W3. Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, shopping is safe and easy. The WTU website uses VeriSign, a secure online ordering software.
The security of your credit card information, as well as all your personal information, is our top priority. Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for safe and secure commerce transactions. This technology encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
If you would like to order from WTU, but do not want to place an order online, you may order by phone.
W4. I am having trouble placing items in the shopping cart?
If you cannot place an item the shopping cart, that means your web browser security setting for accepting cookies is turned off or is set too high. Please consult your web browser's "Help" area for more information on disabling and enabling cookies.
W5. What are cookies and why does the WTU website use them?
A cookie is a small text file stored temporarily in your web browser which enables the WTU shopping cart to remember what is in your basket and log-in information. Once a cookie is saved on your computer, only WTU can read it.
Most browsers accept cookies by default but if you're having trouble ordering, you may need to change settings to enable cookies. Please consult your web browser's "Help" area for more information on disabling and enabling cookies.
If you do not wish to enable cookies, you may order by phone.
W6. How do I add to or subtract from my order?
It is very important to verify your order information before concluding your purchase because we cannot add to or make any changes to your order once it has been placed. If you have made an error while ordering, please contact WTU as soon as possible.
W7. How do I cancel an order?
If you have submitted an order and wish to cancel that order, please contact WTU as soon as possible. Please include your order number and explain any changes to be made in your correspondence.
W8. What should I list as my billing address on my order?
The billing address is simply the address to where your credit card is mailed every month. As a security check, the billing address on the order must match the statement address that your card company has on file. If it does not, your order will decline at the point of completing the checkout process. Your order can be delivered to a street address that is different from your credit card statement address.
W9. How long will items remain in my basket if I do not order?
If you leave the Whitetails Unlimited site and return to the site from the same browser window, the items will remain in the basket. Once the browser window is closed, the basket will be emptied.
W10. Why did I not receive my order confirmation email?
Due to increased security of some spam filters, your automated email confirmation may not be received. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours, please contact WTU as soon as possible regarding your order.
If you are an AOL user, your confirmation email will more than likely be blocked by AOL's spam filter before it even had a chance to get to you. Our web programmers have tried for months to find a fix, but AOL keeps blocking. To date, AOL is the only web provider where we experience system-wide problems. Sorry for your inconvenience.

A1. Why should I create an account?
Creating an account speeds up your check-out time by automatically filling in your billing address. It also allows you access to your saved billing address for updating and your Order History.

We ask that you use your email address as your User Name, so it will be easy to remember. If you change your email address please refer to question A3.

Please choose a password that is 4-24 case-sensitive characters long. We recommend alpha-numeric passwords but do not require them.
