Whitetails Unlimited is currently seeking a Vice President of Field Operations. This professional, salaried, full-time position will work directly from the national headquarters in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. This is a highly responsible, very independent position that leads and oversees the field operations department for the eastern United States. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the region’s fundraising and programming.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or financial management. Additionally, the candidate will have previously demonstrated experience in leadership, supervision, and organizational management. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and customer relations skills are required. Compensation and benefits package is commensurate with experience.

Whitetails Unlimited Inc. is seeking a Field Director in seven different geographic areas to execute program services (one Field Director in each area). As a Field Director the candidate will organize volunteers and conduct membership events. Additionally, the Field Director will act as a liaison between all regional activities and the National Headquarters. The new expansion areas are:

– Alabama
– Kentucky
– Montana
– North Carolina
– Texas
– Virginia / West Virginia

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree and experience with event planning and public speaking. Additionally, candidate must have a strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, basic accounting, record keeping, and inventory skills. Related training and job experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Actual exposure to volunteer programs, event planning, and fundraising is desired. Leadership, relationship building, and the ability work independently is important. Exposure to or participation in the shooting sports, hunting, and knowledge of the white-tailed deer is important.

This individual will be required to work from their home office and travel is required. High moral standards, honesty, dependability, good character, and strong ethics are imperative. This is a commission-based opportunity that could become full-time employment if the successful candidate demonstrates the ability to exceed performance goals.
