Whitetails Unlimited has granted $25,610 to various mission related projects in the state of Massachusetts over the past fiscal year. Nineteen different organizations received grants pertaining to outdoor education, habitat enhancement, and hunting and shooting sports preservation. This was done in large part with assistance from Whitetails Unlimited’s five Massachusetts chapters.
Whitetails Unlimited’s DEER Program (Developing Educational & Environmental Resources) consists of initiatives and activities that facilitate the introduction of youth and their families to the great outdoors. Supporting organizations such as Boy Scouts of America troops receive grants for purchasing equipment, firearms, ammo and BB guns for outdoor shooting instruction and skills education. Funds also support outfitting trailers for the kids to use on outdoor adventures, as well as summer camp expenses.
