Whitetails Unlimited Grants $15,000 to the Iowa Clinton County Conservation Board

04/10/2024

Whitetails Unlimited recently granted $15,000 to support a 40-acre land addition to the Lost Nation Public Hunting Area near Clinton, Iowa. The acquisition is being supported by several conservation groups for public hunting and other year-round activities. It will adjoin a 260-acre parcel that is already open to the public. The land consists of grasslands, wooded ravines, and wetland areas which provide ideal habitat for deer, pheasants, waterfowl, and many other species.

Whitetails Unlimited is proud to support various acquisitions like the Lost Nation project as part of its HOPE for Wildlife Program. The program focuses on habitat enhancement, land acquisition, and antipoaching efforts. These efforts help to preserve the hunting tradition for future generations.
